Two-System HVAC Replacement in Raleigh, NC
Challenge
This Raleigh, NC, homeowner’s old HVAC systems operated since the construction of the home in 1976. As the equipment aged, efficiency was reduced, which led to higher operating costs.
The outdated metal ductwork had reduced airflow due to poor design, and air leaks were found at multiple joints in the attic and crawl space.
Solution
Our project manager performed a load calculation to determine the correct tonnage needed for the home. Our installation team removed the old equipment and metal ductwork from the crawl space and attic.
Then, they installed the new air conditioners, coils, gas furnaces, and duct systems. The new energy-efficient equipment and the updated duct design will greatly reduce the homeowner’s operating costs.
